She is the author of a workbook, Career Transition, Partnering with You For Success. It weaves the themes of MIndfulness and self integration with the practical work necessary for writing a resume, and enhancing networking and interviewing skills.
Central to her work is Mindful Coaching/Training. This is personal alchemy: an experiential process of change, using tools that help to reduce stress, while increasing self awareness and integration. She is experienced working with groups, organizations and individuals.
.Patricia previously worked for Fortune 500 corporations in Chicago as a Human Resources manager and administrator for 17 years. She was nationally certified in her field and served on the executive board of a 200 member professional association.
Patricia directed Mindfulness Meditation of Columbus for nine years, managing retreats and serving as weekly meditation guide. She was an Instructor at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, and an original staff member at OSU’s Center for Integrative Medicine.
Education: BA, Miami University. Patricia is certified to teach Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction as well as a 7 level form of Chinese Qigong. She is a certified Shiatsu Practitioner (retired) and maintains a small Cranial Sacral practice.
Patricia’s current areas of interest are Emotional Intelligence, Jungian psychology, and brain research. She enjoys a creative life by swimming, gardening, traveling to distant lands, photography, dogs, and having a great time with all of it! The potential still exists for learning French, the language of her new daughter in law.
She is based in Columbus Ohio.
About the photos. They were mostly taken on a family trip to Ireland, but also include photos from France, England, Turkey and along the Dalmation coast. I took a few; my son Kyle Dugan gets top billing for photograhy and travel.
